SEMC Mid-Career Professionals

The purpose of the SEMC Mid-Career Museum Professionals (MCMP) Facebook group is to provide a space for those of us considered to be mid-career (defined generally as 10+ years in the profession) to ask questions, share posts, and offer advice in a semi-public environment that will benefit other MCMPs in the southeast.

Feel free to begin discussion related to the challenges many of us face at this level (regardless of your position) such as knowing when it’s time to pursue different opportunities/mid-career job changes, transitioning from peer to supervisor, the ins and outs of consulting, institutional culture and work/life balance (to name a few).
