ABOUT FOOT SOLDIERS PARK: Foot Soldiers Park and Education Center, a nonprofit founded in 2021 by JoAnne Bland, aims to preserve Selma's civil rights history and foster economic revitalization. The organization plans to launch its campus in March 2026, focusing on community engagement and addressing systemic racism. FSP aspires to create living wage jobs and increase local voting rates.
