The Manager of Jewish Art and Culture Programs at the NC Museum of Art (Raleigh, NC) manages the coordination, production, and presentation of all arts programming developed by the Initiative for Jewish Art and Culture, ensures the successful integration of Initiative programming into the programming of the larger Museum in coordination with other Museum programmers, and plays a key role in managing communication and outreach to existing stakeholders and in the cultivation of new and existing partnerships with community organizations for the development and promotion of Initiative programming. Initiative programming includes, but is not limited to: a Jewish film series; artist residencies and contemporary arts programming; a robust schedule of visiting speakers; an annual Freedom Seder, Purim party, and Holocaust Memorial Concert; and music and dance programming. Initiative programming engages diverse audiences grounded in the collections of the Judaic Art Gallery and the Museum, special exhibitions, and other Museum experiences. Reporting to the Curator of Judaic Art, the position works closely with other departments across the Museum, including Outreach and Audience Engagement, Advancement, Marketing, and Evaluation, to implement Initiative programming.
