Join Our Team: Senior Grants Administrator - Town of Hilton Head Island
The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a Senior Grants Administrator administer and coordinates grant-funding programs.
What You Will Do:
- Administer grant and alternative funding for Town projects; conduct research and match needs with grant resources; write grant applications and proposals; monitor compliance with awarded grant programs.
- Search and apply for grants and alternate funding sources, and for various award programs; actively pursue grant funding to supplement Capital Improvement Program.
- Manage and/or assist with various data collection & analysis such as census data.
- Advise and inform various Town Boards, Commissions and Town Council on current issues, findings and recommendations related to grants and alternate funding sources.
- Research, analyze and draft documents related to the Comprehensive Plan.
- Collect, interpret and implement Comprehensive Plan and Town Council goals.
- Serve as grant manager for various assigned projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong writing skills.
