    Historic Resources Specialist II, Curator of Education 

    The curator of education at the Two Mississippi Museums, Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum,  is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs. Work hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. 

    Starting annual salary: $33,372.00

    Duties include:
    Develop and research educational programs, including tours of the core exhibit and temporary exhibitions, school and youth workshops, exploration carts, family programs, lectures, and off-site
    outreach programs.
    Lead and facilitate educational programs and exhibition-related programming to engage the Museum’s diverse audiences.
    Manage interns.
    Serve as a member of the 2MM team.

    Education and experience must meet one of the following criteria:
    A Master's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
    A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and one year of related
    experience.
