The Southeastern Museum Conference (SEMC) proudly offers a professional development program for future museum leaders that supports diversity and inclusion. SEMC Leadership Institute: Leading for Today’s Challenges will be held April 7-12, 2024 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. SEMC is proud to partner with the Association of African American Museums (AAAM) for the 2024 Leadership Institute focused on leadership training and is thankful for additional support from the National Museum of African American History and Culture - Office of Strategic Partnerships (NMAAHC-OSP) and Smithsonian, Our Shared Future: Reckoning With Our Racial Past Initiative (RWORP)
